Bethesda’s space RPG Starfield is set to appear on the PlayStation 5 console at the beginning of April, according to a reliable leaker.

Xbox has seen success bringing its exclusives to the PlayStation 5, and that trend will continue this spring. Soon, Bethesda’s space RPG from 2023 will arrive on Sony’s console.

According to information from the always-reliable billbil-kun on Dealabs, Starfield for PlayStation 5 is expected to launch on April 7th this year.

Cheaper PS5 Version

Interestingly, the PS5 version is said to be cheaper than previous versions of Starfield. The standard PS5 edition is expected to cost €49.99, while the Premium edition will cost €69.99 – the same price as PC and Xbox versions currently do.

Pre-orders for the game are reported to begin on March 18th, and it will be available in both digital and physical editions.

An Update is Coming

It is also expected that the PlayStation 5 release will be accompanied by a new update for the game, which Bethesda has been working on for some time. Director Todd Howard recently stated that it won’t be a full “2.0 update” that completely transforms Starfield, but it is something fans will appreciate.
